When submitting Japanese documents to overseas public institutions or banks, you may be required to obtain international legalization such as an Apostille, Authentication (of official seals), or Consular Authentication.

An apostille or Authentication of official seals is both a certification by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for official documents issued by Japanese government agencies or local governments, etc.

An apostille may be required when you need to submit a Japanese document for various procedures to oversea’s public institutions or banks such as;
– company establishment
– change of officers at a company
– real estate purchase
– inheritance
– bank account cancellation
– marriage or divorce
– birth
– visa application

Whereas an Authentication of official seals is requested to obtain a certification from the institution to which you are submitting the document, or when you are requested to obtain a Consular Authentication (consular legalization) from the embassy or consulate (-general) of the country to which you are submitting the document in Japan.

An apostille can only be used in the countries that are signatory to the Hague Convention.

Even if the country which you’re going to submit a document to is a signatory to the Hague Convention, Consular Authenticiation may be required, so please check in advance with the government office etc. which you are going to submit to for what type of certification is required to obtain in Japan.

A meeting may be held if necessary.

A quote

We will confirm the required authentication method and will provide you with a quote for your consideration. If you agree, we will proceed to the next step. If you need it urgently, a rush fee will be added.

Payment of the fee

Please transfer the fee to the designated bank account.

STEP
Delivery of the document

We will proceed with the necessary procedures and deliver the documents by the date you request (if you require urgent assistance, an express fee will be charged).
