The Japan Legal Support Center, called “Hou terrace/terasu (in Japanese)”, provides multilingual services for foreigners. Lawyers and judicial scriveners affiliated with the Japan Legal Support Center can provide consultation regarding legal issues you may face while living in Japan. If you meet certain requirements, the Japan Legal Support Center can pay the lawyer’s or judicial scrivener’s fees on your behalf. In this case, you will make installment payments to the Japan Legal Support Center after the case is completed.
